(Feb. 22, 2023) \u2013<\/strong>\u00a0The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.amwater.com\/awcf\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/www.amwater.com\/awcf&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1677168013412000&amp;usg=AOvVaw1KH_tmKWEVs4_FXIEBvceo\">American Water Charitable Foundation<\/a>, a 501(c)(3) organization established by American Water, the largest publicly traded U.S. water and wastewater utility company, recently announced that STEM (science, technology, education, math) education grants totaling $67,055 have been awarded to four organizations supporting communities served by\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/pennsylvaniaamwater.com\/\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=http:\/\/pennsylvaniaamwater.com\/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1677168013412000&amp;usg=AOvVaw0PZLaV7kkWoYP2y8mvTFWy\">Pennsylvania American Water<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cWe\u2019d like to congratulate the recipients of this year\u2019s STEM education grants and thank them for the important work they do in the communities we call home,\u201d said Pennsylvania American Water President Justin Ladner. \u201cThe programming these nonprofits provide to students truly helps prepare our future leaders.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\nThe STEM Education grant is part of the American Water Charitable Foundation\u2019s Keep Communities Flowing Grant Program, focusing on three pillars of giving: Water, People and Communities.\u00a0Below is a list of grantees throughout Pennsylvania:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/aclamo.org\/\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/aclamo.org\/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1677168013412000&amp;usg=AOvVaw1b0sLgjk8gVIjfNMgQ2EGa\"><strong>ACLAMO Family Centers<\/strong><\/a>, Norristown, Montgomery County \u2013 Acci\u00f3n Comunal Latino Americana de Montgomery County program allows youth to focus on STEAM education and enhance skills\u00a0<strong>($25,000)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/wvymca.org\/\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/wvymca.org\/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1677168013412000&amp;usg=AOvVaw3XjT_WEpG21r7hIoMyLvV7\"><strong>Greater Wyoming Valley Area YMCA<\/strong><\/a>, Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County \u2013 Power Scholars Academy provides support for STEM\/outdoor education\u00a0<strong>($7,055)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ventureoutdoors.org\/\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/www.ventureoutdoors.org\/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1677168013412000&amp;usg=AOvVaw0rBHG6pKuILsGHF53iAHlf\"><strong>Venture Outdoors<\/strong><\/a>, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County \u2013 Pittsburgh First Catch Program connects underserved people to fishing, boating and water quality to develop future conservationists\u00a0<strong>($10,000)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/ymwicfoundation.org\/\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/ymwicfoundation.org\/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1677168013412000&amp;usg=AOvVaw3QuUjwCi_ept5uWy8Ivx75\"><strong>Young Men and Women in Charge (YMIC) Foundation<\/strong><\/a>, West Chester, Chester County \u2013 Young Men &amp;
