This position is part of the physical plant and requires a working\u00a0 knowledge of the principles, practices, and equipment of water plant operations including conventional and membrane filtration; GAC; UV and gaseous chlorine disinfection among other skills and abilities. The successful candidate should possess a PADEP water operators certification AE: 1,6,8,10,11,13 or ability to obtain within 12months of hire and obtain a commercial driver\u2019s license with Haz-Mat endorsement within 1 year of hire.\u00a0Candidate must possess a valid Pennsylvania Driver\u2019s license.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A full job advertisement, description and applications can be obtained at the State College Borough Water Authority website at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scbwa.org\/\">www.scbwa.org<\/a>.
