(Sept. 27, 2021)<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Customers of\u00a0Pennsylvania American Water<\/a>\u00a0can rest assured of the quality of their tap water, as 17 of the company\u2019s water treatment plants were recently recognized by\u00a0the\u00a0Partnership for Safe Water<\/a>\u00a0at the Directors and Presidents levels for achieving water quality excellence.\u00a0The national awards, which honor efforts to continuously optimize water treatment plant\u00a0and distribution system operation and performance, were\u00a0announced<\/a>\u00a0by the\u00a0American Water Works Association.<\/p>\n \u201cMaintaining these levels of quality demonstrates Pennsylvania American Water\u2019s continued commitment to optimizing treatment processes and providing high-quality water to customers,\u201d\u00a0said Pennsylvania American Water President Mike Doran. \u201cThrough the past year \u2013 pandemic and all \u2013 the dedicated teams who support these systems have continued their work every day to deliver tap water that is safe, clean, reliable, and meets or surpasses state and federal drinking water standards.
