Richard Hope – WI<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Richard is a Senior Vice President for AECOM and lives in\u00a0 \u00a0Stevens Point, Wisconsin. With over 38 years of experience managing water-engineering projects in the water industry, Richard has been an active member of AWWA since 1990.<\/p>\n

\n

Richard is the Global Water Technical Practices Network Leader.\u00a0 At the Association level, he has served as a past chair of the Engineering and Construction Division and the Infrastructure Management Committee. He is also a current member of the International Council.\u00a0 Richard has served as a past chair of the Wisconsin Section and currently serving as the Wisconsin Director and Vice President. Richard is a frequent speaker at conferences. He has experience as both a design and field engineer and is a specialist in asset management, master planning, hydraulic modeling and water loss control. Richard has received the George Warren Fuller and the Kenneth Miller Founders awards.<\/p>\n

Richard holds a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Civil Engineering from Teeside Polytechnic\u00a0 and diploma\u00a0 in Business Administration from Warwick University . He is a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of Wisconsin and a Chartered Engineer in the United Kingdom.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Kalahari Resorts: May 11-13, 2021 in person annual conference cancelled<\/span><\/strong><\/div>\n

\nWith the uncertainty surrounding COVID-19 and the availability of the vaccine, we have decided to postpone the annual in-person conference originally planned for\u00a0May 11-13, 2021.\u00a0 This decision was made at this time due to conditions of the venue’s cancellation policy. Given the multitude of unknown variables around the pandemic and our commitment to keeping our members healthy and safe, PA-AWWA has decided that the most responsible action to take was to postpone the conference.<\/span><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
In the meantime, PA-AWWA is planning a virtual conference for this spring\/early summer. The specific dates have yet to be determined, but we expect to offer the conference in the first half of 2021.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n

This virtual conference will include an opening\u00a0session featuring a keynote speaker and AWWA representative, educational sessions offering contact hour credits, a virtual yet interactive exhibit hall, the Fresh Ideas poster contest, and some creative networking opportunities.<\/span><\/div>\n
