This decision was not taken lightly as the conference represents a significant source of revenue for the Section. Revenue that we count on in order to continue our valuable services.<\/p>\n<p>Together, PA-AWWA and PWEA are currently working to issue a full refund of your sponsorship contribution as a result of the conference cancellation. You may expect this refund by June 2020.<\/p>\n<p>As a reminder, each year, a portion of your sponsorship dollars is allocated to the PA-AWWA&#8217;s David A. Long scholarship for $2,000 and the One AWWA Operator Scholarship for $1,000.\u00a0 Almost all of this year&#8217;s David A.Long scholarship applicants are graduating seniors.<\/p>\n<p>With this in mind, the PA-AWWA Board\u00a0 is asking you to consider contributing a portion of your refund to put used to fund the $2,000 scholarship and $1,000 for the operator scholarship to this year&#8217;s recipients. If you would prefer a full refund, you may still contribute to the scholarship fund through a separate transaction through PA-AWWA if so desired.
